Superstitious

How should I begin this chapter? How should I even described these people whom are superstitious about almost everything? I have seen many types of superstitious kind in my life, (well, thats the added advantage of being in a multiracial country) mostly related to religions.

Almost every child in this country were virtually told of the stories where wolf appears in front of them after 7pm and take them for dinner, we can't sweep floor at certain period for good luck flows away, can't this cant that...if not bad luck comes...

Okay, I know, some of them are put up for good purpose. They just want the kids to listen by freaking their hearts out, but hey...if you overdo it, that's the main problem.
